Family Values, a short story

My new short story, Family Values, will be featured in an anthology called, Tales From The House Band, due for a fall release by Plus One Press. It features the protagonist of A Light Rain of Grace, Emma Allison, hanging out at a Sausalito, CA restaurant, The Trident, in the mid-sixties. It was a time and place when you might be dining in the same restaurant with Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and members of a popular English band on any given night. In this short story, rock star Emma gives the reader a peek at the San Francisco Scene as it was in the height of its golden years. It’s also a peek into the psyche of a talented and beautiful, but highly erratic young woman who with the best of intentions gets herself into the craziest and often most hilarious situations.
